The luge....one option for getting down from the Great Wall...we decided to pass, especially after seeing the crevice it crosses and the rickety structure. NO THANKS!!!

However other enjoyed it...

yay sweater action! the great wall looks like so much fun. PS: you are all over the internet blogs, have you put your name into google lately?
Laura,
I like that wall. A piece of it sure would look great in my backyard. Or front yard.
You remember when I lugged that roof tile back from the ruined castle in Alsace for you? Well.....
I have an idea for a neat book:
'The 101 Best English Signs In China'.
Featuring the ones you found. Plus all the ones you haven't yet found but will.
It looks a lot colder where you are than where we are. I have visions of you huddled over a tiny charcoal stove, fanning the flames in a desperate attempt to keep warm by exercise if not by the stove.
Have you been riding a bike? In the cold? How have you been getting around?
Love,
Dad
Good post.
